Your choir will experience the USA’s vibrant capitol
first hand. Washington D.C. is rich with history and
we invite you to discover the treasures in and around
the famous landmarks. Walk the grand boulevards. Enter
and explore the ceremonial spaces surrounding the National
Mall. Visit majestic memorials, museums, shops, churches
and chapels. Sing the Saturday Vigil Mass at the Cathedral
in Washington. Perform a concert at Arlington’s Cathedral.
Beyond these historical sites stands the National Shrine
of the Immaculate Conception. Your Sunday visit will
be the liturgical highlight of your choir tour. Celebrate
the richness of the spiritual and cultural heritage of
our nation. Oh say can you sing? Join in the song!

5-Day Itinerary
Day 1 | Thursday | Arrive Washington, D.C.
Day 2 | Friday | National Historic Landmark District | Memorials & National Mall
Begin the day in Lafayette Square Park. Enjoy an outdoor interpretive walking tour around the White House, U.S. Capitol, U.S. Supreme Court, Memorials & the National Mall. Afternoon tour begins at the Jefferson Memorial, FDR Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial and the Washington Monument. Evening optional concert.
Day 3 | Saturday | Arlington National Cemetery, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum | Sing Evening Mass
Today’s guided tour of Arlington National Cemetery includes visits to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and graves of President John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy. Experience a powerful visit to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. Sing the Vigil Mass at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, D.C.
Day 4 | Sunday | National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
Enjoy the morning at leisure. Your visit to the foremost Marian Shrine in the country will include a guided tour of the Great Upper Church of the Basilica, the artistic devotional Chapels and Memorial Hall. Present a prelude and postlude for the 4:00 pm Mass at the Basilica.
Day 5 | Monday | Smithsonian Institute | Depart Washington, D.C.
Your morning begins with a visit to the Smithsonian Institution. Choose from fifteen museums located on the National Mall. Explore as much as you wish before your return home.
