Salzburg Program

Day 1 | Thursday | Arrive Salzburg

ViennaMorning: Arrival and check in at your hotel.

Late afternoon: Information hour for the conductors and choir directors together with the organization and artistic committee of the festival. In the evening you will attend the official opening of the Festival with an Ecumenical Celebration in Salzburg Cathedral. Afterwards, experience a cultural-exchange of all participating groups and musicians - enjoying a snack-buffet.

Day 2 | Friday | AM/Rehearsal | PM/Cantus Salisburgensis 2008

Morning: Rehearsal for the evening Cantus MM Gala Concert at the Festival hall.

Afternoon:
Possibility for guided city tours or excursions.

Evening:
Cantus MM Gala Concert in Salzburg. Depending on the numbers of participating groups, each music-group has the possibility of playing or singing 15-minute (maximum) repertory.

Day 3 | Saturday

Afternoon: Outdoor concert for participating groups, on public squares, in the inner-city of Salzburg.

Evening: “Finale” farewell party with gala-buffet. The members of the society Chorus MM will provide musical entertainment. All participating groups are invited to perform with them. A small give away for each participant!

Day 4 | Sunday

Individual departures or possible extension.

The organizer reserves the right to make changes required for technical reasons.

Optional additional days and concerts in Europe: If you and your choir are interested in extending your stay in Europe, we will be glad to help make arrangements for you. Possible extensions to Munich, Salzburg, Budapest, Prague and other cities are available. Peter’s Way can make additional concert arrangements upon request at palaces, community centers, resort areas, and abbeys, as well as liturgical settings in landmark venues.
