The homeland of Pope John Paul II has a spirit
and character all its own. In addition to exploring
Warsaw and Krakow, the country’s largest cities,
you will also visit Czestochowa, site of a Marian
apparition, and Wadowice, birthplace of the Holy
Father. Cross the border into the Czech Republic,
and visit the old churches and monasteries of
Brno, Zdar and Kutna Hora. Your journey culminates
in Prague, where you will enjoy a visit to the
Church of Our Lady of Victory to see the original
statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Immerse
yourself in these fascinating cultures as your
group travels and worships together in Poland
and the Czech Republic.

10-Day Itinerary
Day 1 | Friday | Depart for Poland
Day 2 | Saturday | Arrive Warsaw
Day 3 | Sunday | Royal Warsaw
Celebrate Mass at St. John’s Cathedral or the Church of the Holy Cross. Your full day tour of Poland’s capital includes the Old Town, Royal Castle and St. John’s Cathedral, and the glamorous Nowy-wiat shopping area. A drive along the scenic route will display embassies, gardens, palaces and monumenst.
Day 4 | Monday | Niepokalanow | Gogowiec | Czestochowa
Depart Warsaw to Niepokalanow, where St. Maximillian Kolbe initiated the "City of the Immaculata." Celebrate Mass at the Franciscan Monastery in Niepokalanow. Proceed to Glogowiec, the birthplace of St. Faustina, and Swinice where she went received her First Holy Communion. Continue on to Czestochowa. Participate in the evening candlelight procession and rosary.
Day 5 | Tuesday | Czestochowa | Auschwitz | Wadowice | Krakow
Venerate the Miraculous Icon of the Black Madonna and tour the Monastery at the Shrine of Czestochowa. Celebrate Mass at the Chapel of the Black Madonna. This afternoon, see the infamous Nazi concentration camp and cell of St. Maximillian Kolbe and visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Karol Wojtyla, Pope John Paul II.
Day 6 | Wednesday | Krakow
Visit the Church of St. Stanislaw on the Rock. Continue to the Old Town and see the residence of Pope John Paul II, while living in Krakow. Explore Wawel Hill, Market Square and Wawell Cathedral. Participate in the opening of the Wit Stwosz altar at the Church of St. Mary (Mariacki). This afternoon, see the oldest Salt Mines in Europe, St. Kinga Church and remarkable religious carvings.
Day 7 | Thursday | Krakow | Prague
Depart Krakow for the Czech Republic. Celebrate Sunday Mass at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy. Venerate relics of St. Faustina and the Icon of Divine Mercy with the words, “Jesus I Trust in You.” Proceed to Prague.
Day 8 | Friday | Castle District
Experience the most popular sights to visit in Prague, the “City of 100 Spires”. Countless captivating churches, shrines, cathedrals and castles will take your breath away. Visit St. Vitus’ Cathedral, the Basilica of St. George and Prague Castle. See the Golden Lane and stroll through Mala Strana.
Day 9 | Saturday | Charles Bridge and the Old Town | Mass at the Infant Jesus Church
Begin at the beautiful statue-lined Charles Bridge. The Old Town Square is lined with historic buildings and churches. This afternoon visit the church of Our Lady of Victory, known for the shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Celebrate Mass at the Shrine, and present your prayers and intentions to the Miraculous image of the Infant Jesus.
