125th Anniversary Pilgrimage

11-Day Pilgrimage to the Shrines of France | June 30–July 10, 2024

Dear Friends,

We would like to personally invite you, your family, and your friends to join Saint Denis Church on this pilgrimage to the Sites and Shrines of France! Our journey begins in Lyon, with its magnificent Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and Ars, to visit the Shrine of St. John Vianney, the “Cure of Ars” and Patron Saint of Priests. We’ll visit Paray-Le-Monial, where Our Lord appeared to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in the Visitation Convent and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus spread throughout the world.

Our journey will continue to Chartres, the Marian shrine that houses the tunic that the Virgin Mary wore at the birth of Christ. We will stop in Normandy to pray and remember those who lost their lives there, those who served our country in World War II, and those who presently serve us in the armed forces ensuring us the freedom we have today. We’ll visit the most famous sites and shrines of Paris and enjoy a moonlit river cruise on the Seine, passing by the city’s illuminated monuments and sparkling Eiffel Tower.

Finally, our pilgrimage will bring us to Lourdes, one of the most popular destinations for pilgrims in the world. We will pray in the grotto where the Blessed Mother appeared to Bernadette Soubirous and revealed herself as “the Immaculate Conception.” We invite you to bring all of your intentions to Mary, mother of our earthly pilgrimage.

We will meet saints you heard about growing up. Learn more about one of the most devoted lovers of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Thérèse. Pray in the chapel where Marian apparitions to St. Catherine Labouré in Paris led to the devotion of the Miraculous Medal. This pilgrimage will allow these saints to inspire you all the more as we see and visit the places that they lived and experience the culture that surrounded them.
