photoExperience a personal encounter with Jesus in the mystical land of His Life, Death, and Resurrection. While near the Sea of Galilee, in Bethlehem and Jerusalem, the Gospels will come to life as you walk, pray, and celebrate the Eucharist in the places held most sacred to Christians. Visit the sites where Jesus performed His miracles. Carry the cross and trace His last steps before crucifixion, as you walk down the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Once you become a pilgrim to the Holy Land, you will never read or hear the Scriptures in the same way again. Your faith will be renewed.

10-Day Itinerary

Day 1 | Sunday | Depart for the Holy Land

Day 2 | Monday | Arrive in the Land of the Bible | Tel Aviv | Sea of Galilee

Upon arrival in Tel Aviv your pilgrimage, in the footsteps of Jesus, begins by the shores of the Sea of Galilee. It was on these beautiful shores that Jesus delivered sermons and performed miracles.

Day 3 | Tuesday | Cana | Nazareth | Mt. Carmel | Armageddon

Visit Cana, the site of Jesus’ first miracle. Walk through the streets of the Old City of Nazareth. Visit Joseph’s Workshop, Mary’s Well, and the Church of the Old Synagogue. The afternoon you will ascend Mount Carmel. Pray the Stations of the Cross in the garden. See "Elijah's Cave," where the Old Testament prophet is believed to have lived. Visit Megiddo, on the plain of Armageddon.

Day 4 | Wednesday | Around the Sea of Galilee - Upper Galilee - Jordan River

Today’s boat ride on the Sea of Galilee may bring in a catch! Enjoy a demonstration of the lowering of the nets on your way to Capernaum. Visit Tabgha and the Mount of the Beatitudes. Explore the upper region of the Galilee; Caesarea Philippi, Mt. Hermon, & the Jordan River.

Day 5 | Thursday | Beit Shean | Jordan Valley | Jericho | Jerusalem

Today we leave sea level and head for the heights of Mount Tabor. Visit the incredible remains of the Biblical city of Beit Shean. Drive through the Jordan Valley, stopping in Jericho, on your pilgrim way “up to Jerusalem.”

Day 6 | Friday | Mt. Olives & Mt. Zion | Bethlehem & Shepherd's Field

Walk along the Hosanna Road to the garden of Gethsemane. Look across the Kidron Valley and fix your gaze on the Old City. Visit the Church of the Agony, and continue to Mt. Zion to see the Church of St. Peter in Galicantu. Pray in the Upper Room of the Last Supper. In Bethlehem, let us kneel down in adoration at the Church of the Nativity.

Day 7 | Saturday | Wilderness of Judea | Qumran and Masada

Following breakfast, travel to Bethany. Continue to the Judean Wilderness to see the ruins at Masada. The afternoon includes a trip to the Dead Sea, with a view of Ein Gedi; and a visit to Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. Return to Jerusalem by way of the “Inn fo the Good Samaritan.”

Day 8 | Sunday | City of David/Temple Mount | New City | Ein Karem | Israel Museum

Worship service at the Garden Tomb (subject to confirmation). After service prayer, explore the City of David, pray at the Western Wall and see the Temple Mount. Enjoy a taste of the Jewish Quarter “Cardo” for lunch. This afternoon, travel through the “hill country” to Ein Karem to visit the Church of the Visitation. Visit the Yad Vashem Memorial and see the Dead Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum.

Day 9 | Monday | Via Dolorosa | Emmaus

Enter the Old City through St. Stephen’s Gate. Before beginning the “Way of the Cross,” reflect on the Passion of Jesus in the Chapel of the Flagellation. Then, pick up your Cross and carry it along the Via Dolorosa to Jesus’ tomb. End the day on the road to Emmaus.

Day 10 | Tuesday | Return to the USA
