10-Day Itinerary

Day 1 | Friday | Arrive Montreal

Day 2 | Saturday | Highlights of Montreal

Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of Notre Dame. Following Mass, enjoy your visit of the Basilica and continue with your guided tour of Old Montreal at the Notre-Dame de Bonsecours Chapel. Visit the Basilica of Mary Queen of the World, the Cathedral of the Archdiocese of Montreal which was built as a scaled replica of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. Visit the Oratory of St. Joseph and become familiar with the story of the saintly Brother André Bessette. Spend the remainder of the afternoon perusing the shops of the underground City.

Day 3 | Sunday | Montreal | Kahnawake | Cap de La Madeleine or St.-Benoit du Lac

Option I: Depart Montreal to visit the Jesuit mission of St. Francis Xavier in Kahnawake. Pray at the tomb of Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, the “Lily of the Mohawks.” Enjoy a scenic ride to Cap de la Medeleine and visit the Sanctuary of Notre Dame du Cap, the largest sanctuary to the Virgin Mary in North America. Celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Rosary. If overnight option is chosen, you may participate in a candle light procession in the gardens of this breathtaking Sanctuary.

Option II: Depart for the Abbey of Ste-Benoit du Lac. This active Benedictine community of monks was founded in 1912 and remains true monastic community. Celebrate Mass on site. After lunch, you will enjoy a guided tour of the Abbey. (overnight option available)

Day 4 | Monday | Montmorency Falls | Isle d'Orleans | Québec City

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, we depart for Quebec City. Stop along the scenic route to see the impressive Montmorency Falls tumble into the mighty St. Lawrence. Cross the majestic St. Lawrence River to the historic and scenic Isle d'Orleans. Your afternoon historic tour of Québec City takes in Old Québec, Chateau Frontenac, the Plains of Abraham, Parliamentary Hill, the district of small Champlain, Dufferin Terrace and Notre-Dame des Victoires Church. Celebrate Mass. Settle in for your stay in Quebec City.

Day 5 | Tuesday | Excursion to Saint Anne de Beaupré

Today will begin at the magnificent Basilica of St. Anne de Beaupré. This renowned pilgrimage site, dedicated to the mother of the Virgin Mary, has been consecrated since the middle of the 17th century. Celebrate morning Mass at the Basilica of St. Anne. Following Mass, enjoy a tour of the Shrine and museum. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the Beaupré Coast. Optional at an additional cost, enjoy an eveningcruise along the St. Lawrence River!

Day 6 | Wednesday | Québec City

Celebrate Mass at the Basilica Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-Québec. Following Mass, visit the crypt which houses the remains of the bishop of Quebec City. You are free to explore independently. Discover the hidden treasures of Old Québec including; the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, the Citadel, the Ursuline Convent, the Museum of French America, and the presentation of the “Quebec Experience.” Enjoy the afternoon on “Old Quebec” at leisure.

Day 7 | Thursday | Québec City | Mauricie Region

This morning we leave Quebec City for the Heart of the Laurentians. The Maurice Region is known as "le Coeur du Quebec" Nature will captivate you along the shore of the St. Lawrence River, where mountains, forest and water form a majestic combination. Your pilgrimage ends at the Lac á l’Eau Claire resort. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon for quiet reflection on this unique and magnifique journey!

Day 8 | Friday | Return to the USA
