Day 1 | Arrive in Munich | Oberammergau

Arrival of participants. Welcome to Munich, the Bavarian capital. Upon arrival, transfer to Nymphenburg Castle for a guided tour. Visit to the centre of Munich where you will see the Marien Square with its famous carilion.

Afternoon: travel to Oberammergau for hotel check in.

Evening: Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau.

Day 2 | Oberammergau

Breakfast at your hotel

Morning: Enjoy a tour of the Passion Play Theatre. Learn about the history and development of the Passion Play. Stand on the stage upon which innumerable generations from Oberammergau portrayed the life and affliction of Christ to fulfill their vows, and see the actor's wardrobes, that are lovingly filled with original costumes.

Afternoon: Possible performance with clinic by international adjudicator.

Evening: Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau.

Day 3 | Oberammergau Festival

Breakfast at your hotel

Morning: Rehearsal with your choir, orchestra or band

Afternoon: Participation in the festival with a 25-minute performance on the Passion Play Theatre stage. Meet other groups and enjoy their performances.

Evening: Reception with drinks and snacks in the evening. Overnight in Oberammergau.

Day 4 | Munich

Breakfast at your hotel

Morning: Return to Munich. Optional visit of Neuschwanstein Palace or Linderhof Palace, palaces of King Ludwig II.

Afternoon: At leisure in Munich

Evening: Farewell Dinner in Hofbrau House, where you can see German folklore lederhosen, dirndl dresses, Bavarian hats! Overnight in Munich.

Day 5 | Return to the USA

Travel to the airport for your return flight. Auf wiedersehen, goodbye!

Peter’s Way can make additional concert arrangements upon request at palaces, community centers, resort areas, and abbeys, as well as liturgical settings in such landmark venues as Vienna’s St. Stephen’s Cathedral.
